Blow Dry Bar by ReVive! Salon Brings Expert Blow-Out Styling to Downtown Allentown

The upcoming grand opening of Blow Dry Bar by ReVive! Salon has been highly anticipated in and around The Shops at City Center, and its location at 27 N. Seventh Street in Downtown Allentown could not be more convenient for residents of STRATA Flats, their neighbors, guests at the Renaissance Allentown Hotel and those visiting and working downtown. The public is welcome to attend the celebration on Friday, September 16, 2016, from noon to 8 p.m.

Blow Dry Bar is owned by Amanda Lenz, the successful entrepreneur and owner of ReVive! Hair Salon in South Whitehall Township. The new specialty boutique has six stations offering blow-drys, extended blow-drys, upstyles and makeup application. In addition, it offers scalp massages for men. Currently the salon has six full-time employees, all of whom work one day per week at ReVive! Lenz structured her team this way so that it brings the ReVive! culture, which is focused on pampering client care and spa-like treatments, to the downtown location.

Blow-drys, which cost $35 and typically take 30-40 minutes, include shampooing and conditioning, scalp massage, individualized blow-drys (for desired look) and a hot tool treatment. “The way I describe the business to people is it’s like a manicure,” Lenz told The Morning Call recently. “You get a professional, longer-lasting look and you don’t have to deal with all the hassle. It’s a luxury treatment.”

Blow Dry Bar also offers private party services (perfect for weddings, proms, birthday parties and special events) as well as a VIP membership program that includes two blow-dry services a month and 10% off of EVO retail products. Clients can also book their appointments online via the website. Blow Dry Bar is also a participating merchant in the Thursday Late Night Shopping program, which makes it very convenient to get a spectacular hairstyle before heading out for a night on the town.

Part of the PARK FREE program, the salon suggests using the PPL Center arena parking deck directly across the street on Seventh and Linden streets when visiting. Blow Dry Bar joins the new full-service Rite-Aid, RE:find and Queen City BBQ, which opens in mid-September, along the street level of Four City Center facing Seventh Street.
