TACOS Y TEQUILA COMING TO DOWNTOWN ALLENTOWN

City Center Investment Corp., the real estate development company revitalizing downtown Allentown, Pennsylvania, announced today that the owner of the popular Tacos Y Tequila restaurant in Easton will open a second location in downtown Allentown this fall. 

Ramiro Bravo plans to launch the casual, fine-dining Mexican restaurant in mid-September at 530 Hamilton St., in the space previously occupied by CENTRO, which closed in June 2018. The new restaurant will offer authentic street-style tacos, burritos, enchiladas and other classic Mexican dishes with dine-in, carry-out and delivery options plus a full bar and outdoor seating. It will employ 20 to 25 people.

Tacos Y Tequila will offer some of its Allentown menu items for sale at downtown Allentown’s Fresh Fridays Local Food Market on the ArtsWalk this Friday, August 24, from 12 to 2 p.m.

“With the success of the Easton location, we wanted to expand to another Lehigh Valley city,” said Bravo. “With the future growth of the City Center project, we feel it provides the best potential exposure to our product for our current and future guests to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine.”
